Hotel El Sol in Piura provided a decent stay during my recent visit. The central location was convenient for exploring the city, and the spacious rooms with comfortable beds offered a good night's rest. The air conditioning, although effective, lacked temperature control, requiring trial and error for adjustment. The shower pressure was subpar on higher floors.Value-wise, this hotel stands out for offering an outdoor swimming pool—a rare find in this price range. While the pool area also served as the open-air garage, it sufficed for a quick cool-down, especially enjoyable for families traveling with kids. The included breakfast was simple but satisfying, featuring local Piura bread and excellent coffee.Although some aspects like the pool ambiance and room amenities were not top-notch, the friendly staff, central location, and affordability make Hotel El Sol a reasonable choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a basic yet comfortable stay in Piura.
